Barbados use of 802.x1x2y devices and wireless networking policy

This document outlines the technical principles, limitations and correct use of wireless technology standards defined by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) 802.x1x2y (where x1 represents the number one (1), x2 represents any digit from 1-9, and y represents any letter from a to z).

This policy is in accordance with sections 4 (b) and 4 (f) of the Barbados Telecommunications Act 2001-36.
