Regional ICT Steering CommitteeThe CARICOM Secretariat formed the Regional ICT Steering Committee in January 2005. This Committee was onstituted as one mechanism for dealing with regional Information Society and ICT issues. The Committee is funded under the 9th EDF project. The Regional ICT Steering Committee serves as a “think-tank” for the CARICOM Secretariat. It is viewed as a mechanism to manage and coordinate the advancement of ICT and the Information Society in the Region. The Regional ICT Steering Committee comprises of representatives from the CARICOM Member States and Associate Members, and selected regional organisations. The Member States are Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago.
